Tales of the Shapechangers

In 1725 underofficer Roberto Rodriguez is killed by Comanches in Nuevo Mexico, only to be adopted by an ancient medicine woman as her replacement when he returns to life. Two decades later he leaves his adopted people to return home to Galicia. His family estates are no longer in his family’s hands. But the usurping Spanish overlords had no idea they would someday have to answer to an immortal warrior.
